Danny Moesch bc2d9aa8e8 Present lock view only if needed for an action 
* Do not present lock view in 'viewDidLoad' since this might be too early for an extension ("Not running foreground").
* Instead, show it for actions requiring authentication, e.g. showing the password list or providing a password, or only in 'viewDidAppear'.
* Refactor and lazily load other view controllers and data.
* Let credential providing view controllers decide when to hide themselves.

Pass is an iOS client compatible with ZX2C4's Pass command line application. It is a password manager using GPG for encryption and Git for version control.

Pass for iOS is available in App Store with the name "Pass - Password Store", and both iPhone and iPad are supported.

You can also help us test beta versions through TestFlight.

Building Pass for iOS

  1. Install Libtool, Automake, CMake, Carthage, CocoaPods, Go, SwiftLint, and SwiftFormat: brew install libtool automake cmake carthage cocoapods go swiftlint swiftformat.
  2. Install dependencies via Carthage. Therefore, execute ./scripts/wcarthage update and ./scripts/wcarthage bootstrap --platform iOS in the root directory of the project. This may take some time.
  3. Run ./scripts/gopenpgp_build.sh to build GopenPGP.
  4. Install dependencies via CocoaPods in the project root directory: pod install.
  5. Open the pass.xcworkspace file in Xcode.
  6. Build & Run.
